Welcome to Equi Consignment Ireland(ECI). A new business platform created to fill a gap in Irish Equestrian retail market. Ireland’s new home for pre-loved equestrian products.

What we do?

We acquire premium equestrian items-both new and pre-loved that are in good condition. If you’re looking to sell any items to make room in your wardrobe or tack room, we’ll help you find them a new home.

You might have: -Clothes you don’t wear -New items you planned to return but didn’t -Children’s riding clothes that have been outgrown -Tack items you no longer use

Or, perhaps you’re simply having a good clear out- we are here to make that process easier.

##What happens to your items? You can either drop them off at ECI or send them via post. Alternatively, we can meet you somewhere on the national show circuit. We recognise the demands of busy every day equestrian life, particularly in the middle of the summer show season. We can arrange a collection prior to a particular show date, relieve you of your items and take care of the rest! Your items will be inspected, graded and advertised on our new social media platforms and website. The products are then available to purchase online to customers seeking a more affordable method of shopping! Sellers then get paid when their items sell.

##Three things that make ECI different from the usual classified approach…

1. All products are physically inspected before being advertised online. No dishonest listings, or false images on stock appearing to be in better condition in the photos vs true condition. On every item listing there is a specific defect notes section, preventing misleading sales. Trust where customers know exactly what they are purchasing. Any items that are damaged or broken upon arrival to ECI do not make it on our sales platforms

2. An honest A*-C conditional grading system Every item is graded in the same way, against the same scale:

• Grade A* — Brand New with original tags or packaging.

-** Grade A - Brand New without original tags. Unworn or (if worn) worn once with no visible signs of use. Sometimes in this category, items have been purchased the incorrect size but with tags removed, items could no longer be returned.

-**Grade B - Gently used. Minor signs of wear but only on close inspection. Items still appear to have plenty of life left. Items in this category have often been kept for ‘best’ use only or haven’t had a hard work life up until point of sale.

-**Grade C - Well used. Visible wear from regular use. Still fully functional and cared for. A higher chance of there being visible defects such as scuffs, wear marks, discolouration or general wear and tear. Please note that items graded as Grade C have still been graded good enough to pass the initial quality examination. Any defects will be photographed and noted. The defects will not affect product functionality.

3. Selling/buying has never been easier. The entire ethos surrounding ECI is that the sales process is made simpler for everyone- the customers selling and the customers buying. With experience in retail and equestrian domains, it is important to ECI founders that customers gain 100% satisfaction when using ECI services. For the sellers; lots of people find they have lots to sell but ‘don’t have the time’ to individually photograph, list, and communicate with potential purchasers. For the purchasers; lots of people find keeping up with the latest trends difficult giving the costs of current day living. With the ‘Would love to buy’ and ‘Children’s birthday/Christmas lists’ always getting longer, this is where we would love to help. We want to remove all elements of hassle associated with shopping.

Who ECI is for

Everyone- From professional riders to Pony Club members. Welcome to a website where there is literally something for everyone. Where the whole equestrian community can enjoy prices under original RRP’s.

Examples include:

• Riders who love internet shopping, who are looking for quality, premium items.
• Pony Club parents kitting out a fast-growing child as they’ve outgrown their clothes… again!
• Returning riders who are rebuilding their tack rooms and trying to keep costs to a minimum.
• Livery yards or riding schools replacing schoolwork gear that's reached the end of its life
• An owner with quality gear sitting in a tack box who would rather put the money gained selling these items to good use. Or purchase something that they would use instead of the items going to waste.

A consignment model fixes both sides at once:

1. Sellers get a fair price without dealing with strangers, ghosting, or lowball offers
2. Buyers get inspected gear at typically 40–70% off retail, with the brand quality intact
3. Horses get equipment that fits and functions comfortably. Helping contribute towards improved performances is whatever the chosen discipline.

What you'll find on the shop

The full catalogue is at /shop, but the main categories are:

For the Rider- Women’s, Men’s, Children’s clothing and Footwear. Clothing for in the ring, riding at home or leisure clothing for the days when your attending horse events not in the saddle. All items are categorised into the relevant section. The footwear section has all kinds of footwear including long/short boots, trainers and shoes for all seasons and all weathers.

For the Horse- Saddlery and Tack- Bridles, martingales, girths, bits saddles and accessories associated with saddles including stirrups and leathers. Horsewear and Protection- rugs for all weights and weathers including coolers to heavy outdoor combo’s. Many boots- work boots and bandages, tendon boots, fetlock boots, brushing boots, overreach boots, fly veils etc. This is the section with the most diversity and variations in types of items for big horses or small ponies.

For the Stable- Head collars and lead ropes, grooming kits, feed buckets, yard equipment, tack lockers. Anything that’s useful in and around the yard.

Other- An exciting section with no limits. ECI can take anything Equestrian. Believe us when we say there is literally something for everybody!

How buying works

1. Browse the shop, filter by category, size, brand or condition
2. Open a listing — you'll see measurements, brand, grade and defect notes
3. Add to basket and pay securely online, or message me on WhatsApp if you'd prefer to ask a question first
4. Nationwide delivery across all 32 counties of Ireland — usually within 2–4 working days

How consigning works

If you've got gear sitting unused, get in touch. The process is simple:

1. Message via WhatsApp, phone or email. Make arrangements to get your product to us (via drop off, post or pre arranged pick up.
2. We can agree a fair listing price together or you let us do the work for you.
3. I inspect, photograph, list and ship
4. You're paid when the item sells — no fee until then

Frequently asked questions

Is everything on ECI second-hand?

Almost everything — but a small number of items are not. Be sure to keep checking the website for the latest arrivals. As new stock with tags moves fast and does not hang around. Unfortunately, due to safety reasons; helmets, body protectors and air vests cannot be accepted for resale unless they are brand new with tags.

Do you ship outside Ireland?

Right now ECI ships across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. For UK or EU orders, message me on WhatsApp and I'll quote it manually.

Can I trust the condition grades?

Yes. The same person grades every item against the same criteria, and the defect photos are in the listing — not hidden. If you ever feel a grade was generous, message me and I'll make it right.

How do I sell my own gear through ECI?

Visit the contact page or WhatsApp me directly. Photos + a quick description is all I need to start. There's no upfront cost — you're paid after the item sells.
